Our Equilibria Massage event was extremely popular and well-received – and it was very easy working with Emma to make it happen.

Whether you are arranging a one-off or developing a whole new approach to employee wellbeing, I would recommend a conversation with Emma.”

Under increasing pressure to overcome new and emerging workplace challenges, it is critical for employers to find effective ways to maximise employee productivity whilst promoting and safeguarding employee wellbeing.

Work-related stress, depression and anxiety accounted for 49% of working days lost in 2016/171. Muscular pain is another widely recognised contributor.

By putting in place appropriate tools to help employees manage stress and the root causes of muscular pain, employers can build better wellbeing programmes that contribute to improved productivity and performance.

Massage therapy in the workplace helps to combat the risks of elevated stress whilst also helping to bring relief from headaches, discomfort and pain.

The benefits of providing massage in the workplace include:

  • Increases productivity and reduces employee absence through the prevention of injuries and reduction of stress and tension
  • Increases productivity by helping to re-energise and refocus employees
  • Promotes a healthy working environment
  • Contributes to employee engagement
  • Enhances your employer brand
  • Covers an area of your duty of care to employees

Onsite chair massage is a modern, practical solution, bringing massage therapy conveniently into the workplace.

  • It does not require a lot of space and can easily be accommodated in most offices, meeting rooms and communal areas. An area of 1.5 x 2 metres is all you need.
  • It is performed over clothes and without oils.
  • Treatments can be provided in a short period of time per employee, from as little as 15 minutes. That means an individual employee could receive massage therapy and return to work in the space of a coffee break.
  • All equipment is provided with the service, including a professional massage therapy chair.
